Swamp Concerto is a collaborative exhibition by the artist team Anna Daedalus and Kerry Davis, featuring photographic prints, artist’s books and canvases. The work draws on their three recent projects: Palus (2021), Grounded Glass (2022) and Decomposure (2023-24). All three place-based projects are rooted in the lower Columbia Pacific region, with a focus on a protected Sitka spruce swamp. The team has spent three years observing the wetland through outdoor installations, time-based processes and alternative photographic techniques. As a celebration of a quintessentially Pacific Northwest coastal ecosystem, the exhibition is being presented in conjunction with Earth Day.
On view: April 13–May 5
Gallery Hours: Friday–Sunday, 11–3
Nestled along the North Oregon Coast, the Hoffman Center is a fitting venue for the Enfolded series, which features wetlands and riverine places from the coastal Pacific Northwest. I’m delighted to be showing alongside Keri Rosebraugh’s paintings and sculptures: Future Memoirs of Water.
On view: February 29-March 30

I’m delighted to attend and have my work included in this annual exhibit and sale in Portland. The event helps support Northwest artists and the Oregon coast-based Sitka Center for Art and Ecology. Sitka Center’s workshops and residencies provide time and space for place-based reflection, inquiry and creation at the intersection of art and ecology.
